London born pianist Jeremy Young has gained a reputation as one of the UK’s most respected and versatile musicians.
A founder member of the Manchester Piano Trio, Jeremy has also partnered many of the worlds most distinguished musicians including Olivier Charlier, Mark Padmore, Julian Bliss, Liwei Qin, Thomas Riebl and Karine Georgian. He has collaborated with Benyounes, Elias, Talich, Navarra, Sacconni and Heath Quartets and performed widely in venues such as the Lincoln Center (New York), Herbst Theater (San Fransisco), Esplanade Hall (Singapore), Almaty Concert Hall (Kazakhstan) and Wigmore Hall. Festival appearances include Mecklenburg –Vorpommern, Graz, Lake District, Harrogate, Endellion, Brighton, City of London and Dartington.
As a concerto soloist he has performed under the baton of Sir Richard Hickox, Marcus Stenz and David Watkin and in recital at the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts, The Arts House (Singapore), Hsingchu Concert Hall (Taiwan), Bridgewater Hall (Manchester) and the Southbank Centre amongst others.
Jeremy broadcasts regularly for BBC Radio 3, and has been broadcast on Classic FM, RTÉ Lyric FM, BBCTV, Channel 4 and radio in USA, China, Russia and much of Europe. His recordings are available on EMI Asia, Decca, Sony, Meridian, Signum, Somm and Champs Hill record labels.
Recent releases include Mozart Concerti K414, 415 and 449 with the Benyounes String Quartet for Meridian Records and the complete Brahms Sonatas for Piano and Violin with Canadian violinist Sadie Fields for Champs Hill Records.
Jeremy Young studied at the Purcell School of Music, the Royal Academy of Music and the Royal Northern College of Music. He is currently the Head of Chamber Music at the RNCM and a tutor in piano and chamber music at Chetham’s School of Music.
Alongside his performing work Jeremy founded the Alfrsiton Summer Music Festival in 2006 and has been awarded an Associate of the Royal Academy of Music for outstanding contribution to his profession.

杰里米·杨曾同指挥家理查德·希科克斯爵士、马库斯·斯坦茨及戴维·沃特金合作,在香港演艺学院、新加坡艺术之家、台湾新竹音乐厅、曼彻斯特的布里奇沃特音乐大厅及南岸中心进行过独奏演出。
英国古典音乐台、爱尔兰抒情调频、BBC电视、英国第四台和美国、中国、俄罗斯及欧洲多国电台都播放过杰里米·杨的音乐作品，而且目前在英国BBC第三广播电台会定期播放。亚洲百代、英国迪卡、索尼、Meridian英国之宝、Signum、Somm和冠军山等唱片公司都
与他合作录制音乐唱片。
最近杰里米·杨同本尤太奈斯弦乐四重奏乐团联合发行了由Meridian英国之宝唱片公司录制的K414,415和449莫扎特协奏曲；同加拿大小提琴家莎蒂·菲尔兹合作完成了冠军山唱片公司录制的布拉姆斯钢琴与小提奏鸣曲。
杰里米·杨曾就读普赛尔音乐学校、英国皇家音乐学院和英国北方皇家音乐学院。目前担任皇家北方音乐学院室内乐系主任及切萨姆音乐中学钢琴和室内乐指导老师。
在其演出工作之余杰里米·杨先生于2006年创办了艾弗斯顿夏季音乐节，并被授予皇家艺术学院准会员，以表彰他对音乐艺术业做出的杰出贡献。
